Where did you put the jumper? You cannot mess with the O2 after the connector. Any extensions have to be added upstream of the plug.

An O2 sensor has to have ambient air as a reference. Believe it or not, it gets it from the wires. putting a splice in there screws it up. You will need a new O2.

It's down off the stands but I'm still getting a low voltage code on bank 1 02 sensor. I put a short jumper in there to clear the headers could that be causing this code? PO131

In the mean time CRANK IT UP.....

True, you cant splice anywhere from the connector to the sensor. BAD. Its in the FSM. It will ruin the readings, which is from 0- .1 volts, not much room for error.

Thanks guys.

I figured it was dumping fuel and therefor a very hot cat. Being the "not paying attention" individual I am I had crossed #2 & #4 plug wires. That is what was causing bank 2 to fire up the cat like it did.

The jumper is a 12" plug and play jumper that came with the headers. Probably for the rear cats (which I don't have). I'll just remove it and try to get the 02 wire off the header and see if that takes care of it.
