WOW, you never give up in the quest for more power and better ET's. I'm betting the ported LT1 intake will help a little with a power increase. Instead of a camshaft change why not change the rockers to 1.7's and get the lift around 600. With the heads you are running the extra lift should be extra HP without driveability issues.

Here I am again trying to spend your money. A few years ago I got to the point where I felt my stock shortblock was just about maxed out and my quest ended.

I enjoy it Mike I guess that is why I never give up. I'm one of those that will fight for that last little bit of hp. I'm probably nuts anyway though.

I've thought about the 1.7's and I still haven't totally discarded that idea. Also, I'm still considering advancing this cam. I know that won't increase power but it will I think put it in a more workable rpm range. Everyone says the AFR's make their power up top and I think that is the case here with my car. If I could lower the power band 500 rpm I'd feel a lot better. Maybe when it cools down this fall I can tackle this.

You just keep suggesting. I really appreciate any and all suggestions!

I'm beginning to get the same feelings about my short block.......
