Going back to the AFR 195's. This is from what I have read, not hands on experience. The l98's exceptional torque due in large part to small volume, high velocity intake ports. AFR calls their 180's "torque monsters". Larger ports can hurt lower rpm performance on an engine not built specifically around them. Are your heads too big for your setup? I'm thinking mainly cubic inches here.
