The point I am after is that O2 sensors require air as a reference in order to give a valid reading. Believe it or not, the air comes from the wires. I know, sounds wierd. That's why you can't cut or alter the wires in the pigtail. Any splices will affect it's operation.

Just a jumper. I removed it.

What do you mean by jumper? Did you cut or splice the wires between the plug and the sensor?

No cutting.....I put a 12" jumper/extension in between the 02 plug and the 02 itself to keep the 02 wires off of the headers.
