Perfect sense.
GM RPO G92 denotes that a non base optional "performance" ratio" ,what ever it may be has been installed .
Is is not a identifier of the actual ratio
In the case of auto C4's ; 3.07 was the only optional ratio available so G92 is commonly confused as being for that ratio.In other GM lines there may be more than one G92 option ratio available
And for the pedantic out;
there only other G92 C4 ratio was the 3.31 available in '84 on the 4+3 cars .410 had this option
