Trans cooler?

Subject: Trans cooler?
by 383tpimachine on 2010/9/21 17:13:23

With an auto I know my trans temps are climbing during autox and I will need one when I begin to roadrace.

I was wondering if it was possible to put a trans cooler where the battery is on the passenger side? Then a small pusher fan to pull air in through the gills.

1985 vette. I will get a trans temp gauge to verify the decrease in temp if possible.

Would a deeper pan also help?
