Subject: 90 airbag sensors by TommyT-Bone on 2007/12/22 15:41:27 Does anybody have a good source for airbag sensors? My drivers side needs a new sensor but I was thinking of replacing both sensors while I'm at it. I already removed them, sanded them and the frame, cleaned and applied dielectric grease. I reset the code but it keeps coming back on. It's throwing a code 16, Did it a second time just to make sure I did a good job the first time. I reset the code using the Mid America reset tool. It worked a lot better than the paperclip method. The code goes away but comes back soon thereafter. Same result. So now I want to replace the sensors. Can I get a later model year sensor to work? Is there any difference? Or was it that GM just added the dielectric grease after the 90 model year? |
