This 86 I was working on had electronic, but there was a hard vacuum line buried way down there that went to the check valve. Does the 4l60e use any vacuum signals?

No, the 4L60-E has no vacuum controls


Now its been a few years.....but on my 89 I remember when I first got it, I had no vent airflow......I looked around under the hood & found a hard plasic line at the rear of ther engine melted in two. I mended it with a small piece of vacume line and it worked perfectly. The car was an automatic.
