89 Stumbles with a code 33...Help...

Subject: 89 Stumbles with a code 33...Help...
by WW7 on 2010/10/17 21:20:02

In the past few weeks my 89 has started to intermittently stumble at low speeds, it stumbles then picks back up and runs normal till its next episode, I dont have to be on the gas for it to happen, I can just be cruising along. I checked the codes and got a code 33 after clearing it once from the ECM . The scanner says (MAF/ MAP sensor to high) Could the stumbling Im getting be caused by the MAF burn off / Power relays or is it more likely the MAF itself. They also list one of the causes could be the ECM. I guess what I really want to know is, where do I start looking and testing. Im more of a Mechanical guy, Im not much when it comes to electrical..Thanks for any help...WW7
