All kinds of new things

Subject: All kinds of new things
by Tre57 on 2010/11/18 20:49:34

Had a very busy but productive month or so with my Corvette. Thanks Guru's for all your help with many of these items.

* Removed the interior (exc dash) and cleaned everything.
* Cleaned the pwr seat switches now all but function works.
* Completely removed all remnants of the Bose system installed a new stereo system. (will elaborate in audio).
* Lined the console and rear compartment with felt.
* Replaced the climate control bulbs (de-solder, install, re-solder).
* Painted/dyed the halo black (should have come this way from the factory).
* Replaced the windshield/pillar, rear roof/pillar, targa, and hatch weatherstrip.
* Installed LH footwell courtesy light (mine was missing).
* Replaced the incandescent power driver
* Brakes: New master cylinder, rotors, and pads. (not to mention about 4 quarts of brake fluid to flush all the old crap out)
* Had to tap the rear roof mounts (ok, that just sounds wrong)
* Replaced the floor mats
* Installed a rearview mirror w/ lights. (mirror was missing).
* Installed a new EGR valve.
* Installed a new IAC connector.
* Installed 4 new Bilstein sport shocks.
* Adjusted the headlight dimmer switch so the brights actually work now.
* Installed new headlights. (GE Nighthawk)
* Installed a new gas filler door emblem
* Installed new lug caps
* Wet sanded, buffed (several times), and applied numerous coats of Zaino.

I'm sure there was more.... just can't recall everything.
