RE:Superchargers?

Subject: RE:Superchargers?

I'm doing a blower upgrade myself.

I'll be using a Vortec, a lot easier to install then a roots. Fits under the stock hood and is more efficient. It's also emissions certified.

Roots too look bada$$ though

With the roots you need a taller hood, that's not to bad an problem.

The trouble is the drive in the front, or more specifically, the frame interfering with it. But it can be done.

Keep in mind that most roots want the fuel flowing through them to keep the blower cool and lubricated. So either the fuel injection or the carb needs to be on the intact side.

Magnachargers are setup so the injectors can be underneath. Which you'll appreciate if you ever have a backfire.
