I got the idea for JetHot coating from Grassroots motorsports magazine. They used that coating on their suspension arms.

Unlike powdercoating, I suspect you would be able to see stress cracks.

To be honest, I am not sure if I could see them on a raw arm... just saying... The only way I would feel good would be to do a magnaflux type of test (I know, aluminum, but something of that ilk for aluminum).
