the new soft gaskets are great ,here is an old racer trick if you ever have to use the pressed paper board type . the night before you put your headers on put them in water and let them soak . 8 hrs min. then pull them out of the water and put them on tighten everything up and start the car and idle of 15min . .the gasket will expand a bunch .shut the motor off let it cool for an hr and ck bolts. most of the time you dont have to re tq and the gasket will never leak as it stks to everything
