T56 into an early C-4 swap questions

Subject: T56 into an early C-4 swap questions
by Raidmagic on 2011/2/17 22:36:00

Hey guys. I just made a deal on a wrecked 2000 WS6 Trans Am today. My main target for the purchase was the transmission and it's parts. My question is can I use the clutch master, slave and all from the Trans Am? I have pedals already from an 86 4+3 car so I'm hoping I can use all the parts from the donor car. Also what to do about the C-beam. I know someone makes an adaptor but in talking to -=Jeff=- he said it wasn't a real good piece. Anyone with experience? Jeffvette I guess bought one and redid it better.
Any advise you can offer would be great. I can't wait to get this 6 speed behind my LS1
