How many of you gurus change bolts every time? It also says to torque them to 165ft.lbs -- pretty stout.

Considering they come with threadlocker on the threads is why it says to replace them. Can't trust a tech to clean a bolt and put the correct threadlocker on them. Takes less time, almost idiot proof (still have to use a TQ wrench).

Has nothing to do with heat stress.
