| Fuel pump install questions on my 90 |
Subject: Fuel pump install questions on my 90 by Ultraman on 2011/3/19 22:19:19 I am in the middle of putting in a new Racetronix Walbro fuel pump with one of their kits for the C4. Plug and play my ass. My wiring original wiring harness has some toasted areas and even a spot that looks like it melted a bit on the lower plug in. I have a new harness in the kit but my question is the purple wire that goes to the fuel sensor. I have a purple wire on the harness but the original wire is riveted to the sensor. If I could get the original purple wire our of the top plug and get the new wire out of the new top plug I could reuse the original purple wire. Or am I going to have to solder my new wire to the old one to get the ends to all work out? That's a good question for the guru's.
