Re: Tuning Out the Oil Level Sensor? WWYD?

Wow... first off, the Oil Level Sensor does not require any tuning out. Remove the bulb from the DIC.

The oil pressure switch runs in parallel to the fuel pump relay - it will allow the car to start and maintain operation, once it has seen 4 psi of oil pressure. Now, the catch, it will NOT shut off the motor if the pressure crashes. The idea is that you may not want to stop the engine... it is easier to rebuild a motor than a person.
