There is a GM wholesale place on Gothard Street in Huntington Beach. I know you are in Bakersfield, but if you are a shop....or you can present yourself as a "jobber" they'll sell to you out the back door type thing and the parts are just as cheap as NAPA non-original parts.
I'd try these as the last time I did the NAPA route, the Slave they gave me wouldn't mate up with the GM hose without modification, the original GM Slave mounted right up....
So, I took the NAPA slave back and got my money back.....
Once I found this GM place, I've not had a hard time finding any parts.
And your 4x3?? Orange County Transmissions in Costa Mesa did mine....He didn't need to rebuild the DNE Overdrive, but he took it apart and replace the gaskets.....He did rebuild the 4spd portion, he had it done in "one" working day......
I dropped it off on Monday mid morning and Tuesday afternoon he was done......$750....
Busy day at school. My budy has a shop i work on and he gets me parts. We remover the 4+3 and put in a Keisler transmission 600/ the best thing I have done for my vett.
Easy install 5 year warrenty delevired on time plenty of tech help.
I wish I could gut the pre cats but that would involve replacing the tubes and it may look like I did it my self . You know california. It is smog time right now test only.
I am fairly certain it is a heat issue. one reason I would like to find swing pedals that would allow me to reroute lines.Would not be an easy job. I want options that will work. No idea what that may be . lol
