The 4+3 hydraulics are more reliable than the ZF6 setup.

I can see an angle change causing issues, but the amount of material removed would have to be huge.

Now, if you turned it down AGAIN, you may be too thin. Hence the need for a shim or 2.

Bleeding them isn't hard. I find if you take the master off, have an assistant pump it up to vent the fluid out, then using your thumb, you can work the piston in/out to remove the air. Works quite well, actually.

Keep us posted. I am really curious how thin the current flywheel is. The Helm Factory Service Manual has all the dimensional numbers for you.
