Subject: Re: Trouble codes. by Frank on 2012/9/5 18:03:46 Learned something today  I had a code 34 on my 1984 Corvette. The Chiltons said it was either a MAF or a MAP sensor. According to some other literature I found it was a MAF sensor so I started looking for it. Turns out my Corvette (is this true with all 1984's?) does not have a MAF sensor. Sooo I looked at the MAP sensor and found it unplugged.(?) Not sure how that happened but anyhow problem solved no more check engine light. If only everything was this easy......... Another clue for me early on was the fact that I couldn't find a MAF for this year Corvette at any of the parts houses. |
