lt1 vacuum lines/routing

Subject: lt1 vacuum lines/routing
by tjpreul on 2012/4/17 4:02:17

I need ideas. I have a piggyback controller that uses a vacuum line to overide the MAP sensor. It says to run the shortest line possible for this. There aren't many connections on the LT1 intake, so I have it Tee'd into the line that feeds the ASR, EGR and Opti vent. I realized the Opti vent isn't hooked up correct. The other side is fed into the vacuum connetion on the passenger side, so there probably isn't any air flowing through it. The vacuum port on the passenger side has the purge valve, FPR and Opti vent. The bottom port has the two lines feeding toward the trans.

Anyway would it help to have a dedicated line for the controller, and where would I run it from? This is a forced induction engine.
