Weatherstripping removal is a pain. Get adhesive remover and some plastic scrapers. I also used wood shims to get in there because they are thin and won't scratch. Install wasn't bad for me. I think I started in the middle and worked my way out.

Wilcox is a good brand for weatherstripping. I had a chance to check out the weatherstripping Melrose sells, too. Not sure if they are the same manufacturers, but it was very soft and pliable. The stuff on my new top is way better than the other replacement weatherstripping I have.
