My mechanic told me I needed a new intake manifold gasket and it would cost 300.00 bucks. Said it was replaced two years ago, drive it home, spray some carb cleaner on the runners where some research told me the runner gaskets were the culprit....Low and behold, the idle RAGED UP and went back down. 12.00 and 1 hour of time saved me 300 dollars and two days of work.  Damn leaky runner gaskets just didn't fit right and now all is well again...... |
