Subject: 1984 A/C Delete Pulley by docwilcar65 on 2012/7/10 13:19:00 I have an 84 C4 and found no A/C delete kits. I looked at several GM car delete pulleys and knew there was one for the 88-92 Camaro and Firebirds and I looked at a Firebird pulley system and it looked similar to my 84. I bought a Dorman 34157 on Amazon for around $25. It bolted right up with only a little filing on the factory compressor/tensioner bracket. I used a Goodyear 4060872 serp belt. The stock belt will work but it is a little too loose in my opinion. If you are deleting only the smog pump and retaining the A/C compressor then all you need is a 4060855 belt which is 85.5".
