I checked the FSM and I found was this statement in section 5A: "The pressure differential switch is designed to constantly compare front and rear brake pressure from the master cylinder. The switch turns "ON" the warning lamp on the dash in the event of a front or rear system failure. The combination valve is designed so that the switch will latch in the warning position once a failure has occurred. The only was the lamp can be turned "OFF" is by repairing the failure and applying a moderately high pedal force." So perhaps now that you've got the new m/c installed you have to jam on the brake pedal hard to reset the sensor. |
