I'm not sure that's true about installing the pan once the motor is in the car.. It's been a while since I installed one, from my memory I thought accessing some of the pan bolts with the motor in the car was extremely difficult due to the shape of the canton pan and that the motor must be removed to remove the pan.. or atleast it would be much easier then trying to remove while the motor was installed....

Rick - I was under the impression with the Canton that it had to go in after engine install because of the cross member?
