Well when the transmission comes back we will get things going. I will know for sure and let you know what took place with the oil pan. It is going in one way or another.

Wait on transmission #3 in line waiting to be repaired.

couple complaints about the pan. who ever did the drilling for some of the end studs in the pan left no room for the nuts supplied with the ss studs. lots of fine tuening that would have been a major problem if I installed this with the engine on.

the supplied gasket is very thick not like felt pro it stays in place by it's self

For the price of that pan, I would want to know why. Did you talk to them?

Matthew

I contacted summit and they asked to see pictures if I had them also offered to replace it missed a phone call from the company and the rep wanted to make everything good on the pan.
I should hear from them early next week.

I really like the way the one piece rear oil seal looks hooked up to the pan . (thanks Dave for the gift)
You are welcome Steve ! P.S. , Steve it's really not all that uncommon to run into issues with aftermarket oil pans if you do this type of work on a daily basis ;)
