Subject: A.I.R. pipe insulation - 1992 by donhall on 2012/11/1 22:05:09 The photo is the A.I.R. pipe...... as you probably have experienced, the insulation starts to unravel if you just look at it. The more you trim, the more it unravels, as you can see to the left of the photo.  I'm considering replacing the insulation mess with hi-temp (420 deg max.) nylon split wire loom: http://www.skycraftsurplus.com/splitloom1inch-1.aspx Anyone know the temp of that pipe during operation? |
