AIR CONDITIONING:

So today we decided to tackle the air conditioning. My original plan was to convert the system from R12 to 134a. I've converted systems before with mediocre results. I have been reading conflicting information online about how to convert the corvette system over. Some say drain the mineral oil and add PAG 100, others say use 150 and then there are sites that recommend PAG 46; then there are those who use ester oil because they believe PAG oil to be corrosive. I haven't honestly had the time to do the thorough research on this I would normally do, to get the job completed right. I have a good compressor and a new receiver dryer. The original orifice tube is in good shape. I have 3 cans of R12. What do you guys think. Convert it, or replace the o-rings and put back in the R-12??

One thing I am having trouble locating is an oil capacity chart for this car. My crappy FSM doesn't seem to have it. If anyone can post one that would be really helpful.
