200 ft lbs. that's the revised number.

There is also a crown cap and cotter pin.

If it isn't staying on, I am thinking it wasn't torqued to 200 ft lbs. The published number was 160 ft lbs, but somewhere in the late 90's or early aughts, they found wear issues or something and determined that they needed to be tighter.

I am actually surprised that they didn't find this in the 80's during racing, but I suspect they changed bearings every race or 2, so they never had a chance to wear out.

Also, look into getting a new nut. I think they are pinched, and if over used, will loosen up... Worth checking out.
