The directions look clear enough. Perhaps a little overly detailed - it's not rocket science.

The key? Making damned sure the lid is sealed!!! They are vacuum leak factories and are rather shitty casts, so they need to be worked to be tight. The best starting point is to make sure it's level/flat... and then seeing how it fits to the plenum. After that, it's fit, test, refit... best test? if it holds water, it's tight.

Do not try to fix with RTV, that's only going to cause problems.

The rest is just boiler plate.

You may find that a bigger throttle body will be needed...
