Absolutely, NEVER use a tap.

Interesting thing on that set, it's $58......I paid $49 for it over 15 years ago. That set's saved me way over $1,000.

I also use these on EVERY hole/used bolt on anything I'm rebuilding (like the 67 Coupe and the racecar I just rebuilt).
