In fact the wire does belong to the starter. As the oil pan is bigger than stock, I did not see the empty stud. Today I had some time to work on the car again. I found this pic in the service manual, but no orange wire at the car.  As a few pages forward there is a pic without the orange wire, I decided to ignore it.
