If your part is now the only one, it might be worth considering.
Just a thought... when you are done, make 10 or 15 of them. I don't think you need to make 1000 or even 100, but 10 or 15, have them powder coated and sell them for a good coin on ebay. I think you would be surprised how well they do.
Your design sounds solid... and you may want to include beam plates, too. Make it a full on deal.
What bell housing did you use? The 4+3 or an fbody?
I like the idea of the RAM clutch, cause it has the hydraulic bearing... I have considered that, but I found some really good ZF6/C4 hydraulics at NAPA... put them in 5 years ago and they are still kick'n ass... the slave is a cast one piece unit, no leaks at all. Made in Taiwan, I have had very good luck with stuff made in Taiwan.
If it didnt take 10+ hours of fitting and tinkering I would gladly make a few more. I would never get my money back plus I do not live at home where I had access to all the tools in my dads shop. Also dealing with customers who are never happy is not something I want to ever do again.
RAM is just a learning clutch for me. I am sure it will fail with the power and novice manual driving ability. A McCleod will take its place in due time.
I amusing the F-Body housing for now since it came with it. When it comes back out I hope to have a SFI safety bellhousing installed because I like my feet.
