I have a trickle charger in the cigarette lighter of my '91 and not had any problems, and I've used many other accessories in other older ('90s) vehicles extensively with no problems. The only thing you might need to watch is the current draw, if it's too much it could blow a fuse or possibly cause wiring damaging/overheating (but the fuse *should* blow first) |
