I spoke to the owner, he said he needs to see the example and the gasket material/thickness to quote a price. I will have to pay to have the gasket computerized because the above examples do not include the lid gasket.
Biggest obstacle right now is the gasket material. To match the Mr. Gasket original material, it is 1/16", which is not the problem. Mr. Gasket and Fel Pro both have that thickness available. The problem is the gaskets are sold in rolls which is curled up, and that is difficult to cut on the waterjet machine according to the guy I talked to. I called Mr. Gasket and they do not sell it in flat sheets. I am going to contact Fel Pro and see if they are willing to sell it in sheets vs rolls.
So far, this won't be super cheap just based on materials and setup alone. Add in shipping costs and everything else...I don't expect it would be less than $50 a set.
I've also made some inquiries and have sent the pdf and dxf files off to begin the process with a local source. I'll let you know what the results are shortly. I think I got one of the last sets that Lingenfelter had available a couple of weeks ago.
