Subject: Re: Guess what I broke? by teebee on 2014/2/26 13:07:02 Back in the 70's when I had my 64 coupe, I was driving down the road and the same thing happened to me. Only difference is that the spring didn't break, but the head of the bolt that holds the spring had worn clear through the washer and pulled through and released that end of the spring. I had the same reaction as you did. It was not fun trying to fix that on the side of the road in the dark. Look at the bright side, it could have been worse Andy. |
