Subject: Re: Guess what I broke? by Ultraman on 2014/2/26 20:00:33 One night years ago I was following an early C3 in my pickup and we went over some rough railroad tracks and something let go in his rear suspension and it seems to me it was the rear transverse spring and the end hit the pavement and the sparks that flew were like a 4th of July rocket taking off. I stopped to help but the right side of that spring was on the ground.....he got it off the road and I took him to a truck stop so he could call a wrecker... You may be famous Andy....Wikipedia says no composite Corvette leaf spring has ever failed..... |
