Nice tool. Just did the job on my wifes '85 but had to use a bench vise.

I hope it is OK to post one of my tools at your thread. I had to rethread the adaptor where the oil-filter is sitting at the block. As some idiot (me) used loctite bolt lock at it, I could not get it out. So I decided to fab a "special" tap wrench.

I turned the tap wrench and welded a hex-nut at the end. So I was able to rotate it using a 1/2" ratchet.

Worked fine but I was in a cold sweat until knowing I did it coaxial ...
