A final update here. The rubber part that I needed and that Andy tracked down turned out not to exist anywhere.

I ended getting up an HPS high temperature silicone hose (designed for turbo applications) with a ninety degree bend and cutting it to fit. It's tight in there and I'll need to color the ends black, but it seems to be working.
