Lowered and Poly Bushings...

Subject: Lowered and Poly Bushings...
by Vettrock on 2008/1/25 2:27:16

Hi, I thought I would share some pictures of my of lowered frontend. While I was at it I put poly bushings in also. So far I like it but I haven't driven it much. I cut the rubber spacer off the top of the spring and glued on the wedges using 5 minute expoxy. I also switched to the '88 and later spring retainers. Which had to be cut down for a tight fit of the spring. Since I was going for maximum drop so I also cut the rubber pads off the spring ends. I got a 1.5 inch drop. Not too bad considering I have very little weight in front of the car. The car only weighs 2800 lbs. The control arms move freely with them torqued so I'm pretty sure that's all the drop I'll get.
