Removable screen assembly. Still working on videos to YouTube for this part...

Start with a paper template.

Printer paper under the edge of the glasstop frame, each piece taped together, and a few places taped TO the top, to hold it into place.

After going all the way around with the paper, trace the outline, and carefully remove the paper tracing. Put it aside for now.

Taping together styro foam board. This is shown in the first video...

2 pieces of styro next to each other. You're going to put 3 strips of tape across the joint, BINDING together, for strength. 3 strips within 24" of each other (approximate height of the top). Tape one piece TO THE JOINT, and raise the second styro board a few inches, and THEN press the tape across the joint, onto the second piece of styro. Let the second piece drop flat, and the tape will stretch and bind the joint together.

Repeat lifting for the 2 other strips of tape.

Now carefully flip the boards, and repeat the 3 strips tape on the back side. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LIFT THE SECOND STYRO BOARD AS HIGH FOR TAPING THIS SIDE.

After getting 3 strips across the joint both sides, AND BEFORE CUTTING THE BOARD, get one strip of tape all the way around the board, over the joint (this snappic shows the boards already cut however). This really does strengthen the joint...
