When I was oiling the transmission, a plastic nipple on the end of the hose broke off and fell into the transmission. I am going to try and fish it out with a pair of needle nose pliers... my thinking is that it's soft plastic, and if it does get into the gears, it will be so much confetti... should I worry?

I'd try an retrieve it.

how about pulling the plug and flushing it out?
