I've had the same thing with Earl's, Aeroquip and others.
Doesn't make much sense to have to put a steel wrench on a new aluminum fitting but...........


If I had known I wouldn't have spent $50 on AN wrenches but it is what it is.


IIRC, the AN wrenches always fit the hose end fitting but not the adapters or 90 degree connectors. Just did a dry sump pump where none of the 6 adapters could be removed with an AN.

Yea, pisses me off every time, you need one AN and one steel wrench.
