I'm guessing the new vettes use a metric filter, probably completely different. I have a few Toyotas in the fleet which I order OEM filters for in bulk as well. And the motorcycle, although I just found some "car" filters for it that are recommended, but surprisingly the stock honda filter and K&N are not. Go figure. I just spent $100 on oil filters at amazon, lol. I'll pick up a Rotella filter next time I'm at autozone too. Website says their good for 20 microns. I was going to switch away from the diesel oil due to supposed detergents in there eating my oil deposits and causing leaks, but I reconsidered for some reason I can't remember. Its supposed to handle the oil contamination better and has good sheer strength for the price. And I like the thicker hot viscosity. |
