That's kind of what it's looking like. I pulled the fuse out of the Dakota adapter for the speedometer converter, kind of hoping that's where it's at. Other than the fuse disintegrating in my hand, wasn't the cause. Going to have to start pulling wires off that junction (first thing I plan to try) and see if I can identify which one of them is the culprit, assuming one is the root cause. On the question of the lighter weight battery disconnect, yes I'm planning on using it once I have this issue fixed until such time as I can get the cables to replace it with that Summit cutoff I already have. Unfortunately I don't think I'll have time to get back to it before this weekend :-( I'll keep you posted. Paul |
