Subject: Re: power steering woes by istter1 on 2016/8/15 22:40:34 I lost my power steering hose last month. On my 87. My power steering pump was only a year old. I decided if I had to tear all the stuff in the way I would just put my other new pump on. And save this one. Before I put the belt on I hand spin the pump pulley. I check in the reservoir for air bubbles. I leave the reservoir cap off for an hour then start engine. Knock on wood I have never had air in the lines. Good luck Steve |
