Exactly what I've been doing for my 86. Every couple of months I try and pick up a part or two that I expect I'll need some day (those that won't age out) so when I need them I will have them on hand rather than scramble trying to find something when it fails. Had that happen last year, something failed and went to the parts shelf and grabbed a replacement I'd pre-purchased. That was nice. At least you can have access to them especially those that are being discontinued as we speak.
