It is doable... but you need to do a lot of the prep yourself. Take off all the lights and trim. Thankfully, there are not a lot of either. Fix any dings in the paint... Eastwood sells a filler that will work with SMC - the stuff the body panels are made of. Also, sand down any areas which are badly faded. Finally, be willing to get the car down to Santa Ana... McJack's Corvette. Jack is a friend of mine and he does great work, the least amount of labour he has to do the lower the price gets. I would, at the very least, reach out and ask him. |
