Well, I hope I don't regret this so here goes. I've been driving the car around town quite a bit in the last month. Still had a small "dead spot" sometimes around 40 mph, so I replaced the original TPS. Everything has been perfect since that. I really think there were several things going on that got a little aggravating. (1) the broke magnet in the pick-up coil possibly, (2) poor connector fuel pump harness/motor (3) tps dropping out. This was not a well defined thread but possibly might help someone later. Main thing is "don't give up"!
